Il est mechants

I am changing my blog name to "The Wicked" and the url to "il est mechants," which means "it is wicked" in French.

Wicked as in the British saying for COOL and AWESOME, not evil. Or Elphaba.

These are the energy I've been getting from the winter/spring transition. The exotic vacation spots... the vast fields... wait, do I have an ocean thing?

And the anticipation of wearing all your favorite...

Oh, forget this.

Chanel pre-fall 2011 started out with black pieces

then progressed to some Byzantine-mosaic-type-things trimming the designs,

then went to tweeds in rug-like fabrics

then to some mixture of them,

then to fabulous gowns.

Then some more rugs and genie pants and gowns and Byzantium and ruffles, capes, and more GORGEOUS gowns.

AND THEN everything was black and white, and more gorgeous gowns, meh meh meh meh.

There were some seriously intense dresses in the collection. They were the sort of theings where you have NO IDEA how someone draped this on a mannequin but HE JUST DID.
