SUPER SALES!

today we went to sephora to do nothing in particular, and what should my wondering eye to appeal but a sale shelf stocked with plenty of steals!
i saw this TARTE lipgloss, and let me tell you, it is AMAZING! i cant really explain what it's like, so i'll show you.

The middle is a berryish color gloss, and the outer part is a clear gloss. when you squeeze the tube they blend together and what comes out is a perfectly combined mixture of shine and color. AND THAT'S NOT THE BEST PART! the best part is that it was a sale item, and instead of paying a ridiculous $21, i paid a more reasonable $6!

We also went to the Body Shop, where a nice lady did our makeup. She didn't put on much, but i have to say, it looked pretty good. As we were leaving she gave us all a free foot pumice! the most thoughtful gift ever, right?
The Body Shop is also having a sale. $1 coconut soap and+most of the other stuff on sale.

Pretty eventful day right?

Oh, and we also gossiped for most of the day.

happy birthday:)

Cuz of the COLD (wtheck NY!), it's more of an inside day. So I think that means an inside activity post! Um...yay?
First inside activity: DEPARTMENT STORE DISCOUNTS! Scenario: I want a Juicy Couture bracelet, but it's crazy expensive! So what do I do? I go on Bloomingdale's or Nordstrom's websites and search "Juicy Couture sale." Then I get the bracelet on sale! (Really, this worked when I tried it!! Go me!)
Second inside activity: Forget the grandma sweater, celebrate the holidays with festive nails! First, put on a base coat of red nail polish

(Essie nail polish in Turning Heads Red)

Then top it off with new (and amazingly fashionable) Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday nail polish!

Try this festive trend, and skip the frumpy snowman sweatshirt!
Happy Holidays!

No Pre-Packaged Joy Here

Today we went sledding. And let me tell you, there was not one person that had on appropriate clothing for frolic in the snow. We saw Michelin-Mans and walking toothpicks flaunting their stick-thin legs, and (off topic) annoying teenagers in a race against time (but mostly just against their own stupidity [made no sense]). We, in our neon yellow Michael Kors puffers:
KORS Michael Kors Zip Front Puffer Jacket

(in my case a more appropriate red Moncler was involved)

ventured into the park and braved the unbearable cold. Well, not really, but you get my point. Later, when he had our fill snow and hay, we retreated into the warmth of my apartment and had an idea (cue angelic singing). And that idea, my friends, was to make a fashion blog. We went through quirtzillions of name ideas and settled on FASHION DYNAMIC DUO (uo-uo-uo)! So! Here we are to talk about, what else, food! Wait, no, armadillos! Wait, what? Ah-HEM! FASHION! Check back soon for updates and happy holidays!
