i'm going to focus on this show due to the fact that 1. i am in love with chanel and 2 THE HAIR

The hair is rather cartoonish

but i think that STYLE ROOKIE's Tavi and 30 Rock explained it just right:

"like if you combined a pillow that's been in the microwave with wig extensions"

Speacking of which....

i won one of Tavi's contests!

she had a contest of who could describe what they most like about rodarte for target the best, and, out of about 800 others, me and about 40 others won a lacy cardigan from rodarte for target.

so cooooooooooooooool!

the cardigan is a mustardish color, sort of golden.

speaking of speaking of speaking of which, the chanel show was all about pastels. Karl Lagerfeld stated that GOLD was out and SILVER was in.

okay.....

so......

basically all the jewelry i own is suddenly out....

but hey, whatever.

I am in love with this color! In Fall 2009, Chanel sent their girls down the runway with jade-colored nails, and, after much anticipation, they decided that the color will now be in production!

So simple....

Calvin Klein's spring 2010's runway look blew me away! The look was fairly natural; the makeup was basically a glowing face, and the model's hair was tied back into a fairly casual low-ponytail. Also, the story in style.com reported that one of the only makeup brands Pat McGrath used in the show was Covergirl.

Oh, yeah, and the actual clothes that were on the models....

All of the fashions were quite.... friendly. Not too over-the-top, but still fabulous.

The color palate was mostly neutrals and grays, which made the apparel a little bit more user-friendly.

Ooh, one of my faves of the 2010 collections so far.....!
