Burberry Prorsum FALL 2010 RTW!

I rather like some of the pieces, ACTUALLY, for example, this coat is interesting... I'm kind of in with whole green+buttons+collars+military-looking fabric+black velvet+buttonholes where they're CLEARLY not needed look...

Ooh and this jacket... so military-uniform-y... but still very fashionable.

Same with this one, even though they're really different... I like the schoolgirlish vibe this one gives off. Even though you'd have to be a very with it schoolgirl.

and i'm diggin (if thats what you kids say nowadays...) the zipper in the front thing... very present in this show.

I lectured my friends about who Roy Lichtenstein is.

FAIL

and i worked on my entry for the Teen Vogue and TOMS shoes contest!

The best TOMS shoes design gets manufactured and made!

So if I'm in the top 10...

SO my entry is heart print everywhere except for one of the front pieces, where it has the the japanese character for SHOES on it overandoverandover....

and on the heel it has the japanese character for love.

The hearts are red...

and that's all i got so far.

I just finished my art project!

The project was to design and make clothing out of anything you wanted.

Some opted for newspaper,

while others got creative and used playing cards.

But i, my friends,

took a different path

AND SEWED IT!

i took advantage of our SINGER and sewed the tulle to my heart's desire....

The bottom layer ^ (satin+elastic)

Top layer (fine tulle, coarse tulle, elastic)

I don't care if these are old.

Heck, I don't even care that i found them at the bottom of my closet last night while i was searching for old teen vogues!

Jolly Rodger

Rag and Bone has done something really grunge/military/PLAID for Fall 2010 RTW.

It's like being REALLY cold while watching tv so you pile on blankets then forget you're wearing them and go answer the door for the pizza guy, and you just so happen to be wearing liquid leggings.

Personal experience.

But there's also some stuff that i would wear, namely patent platform bazillion-strapped mary-janes, ethnic prints, CAPLETS, chunky sweaters, summer mixed with winter (ie. linen mixed with knits) , mittens on strings, purple knee socks, and velvet coats that are long and short AT THE SAME TIME:
